Embracing the Prophets!

Would you rather make bricks for Pharaoh or duke it out with God? Walter Brueggemann thinks that's our choice!

Canterbury@ULM will begin our study of "Embracing the Prophets," featuring Brueggemann teaching first, then engaging in discussion of the teaching with a small group. The video portion of the study is designed to be shown in two parts, first the teaching for 10-12 minutes, then a pause for our own brief discussion, then their discussion for 12-15 minutes, followed by our own discussion using the materials in the workbook.

  So... meet me tomorrow in the SUB food court to purchase our lunch. I'll be there around 11:45. Then we're going to the COMM conference room on the first floor of Walker, where I will have everything set up.

We do have a couple of "business" items to discuss while we eat, then we will plunge into our study and plan to adjourn no later than 1:30 p.m.
